Land Acknowledgment

For thousands of years, First Nations people have walked on this land; their relationship with the land is at the centre of their lives and spirituality.

We acknowledge that the land on which we gather is the traditional territory of the Anishnaabeg, specifically Ojibwe /Chippewa people. This territory is covered by Lake Simcoe Treaty 16 and the J. Collins land purchase.
